To continue the serious on the Prophetic Medicines and those foods/fruits that are mentioned in the Quran, used by our beloved Prophet and given to us as part of his authentic Sunna, there is a English saying that the proof is in the pudding, what i mean by that is that the Verses in the Quran and the Hadith from our Messenger (SAW) are more than enough to proof the wonderful benefits and endorsement for Honey:
In Surah al-Nahl, – “The Bee,” Almighty Allah mentions the bees and honey in the following verse: “there emerges from within their bodies a drink of varying colors, wherein is healing for men: verily in this is a sign for those of thought” (16:69). The Qur’an also mentions honey directly on another occasion (47:15), describing rivers of honey in heaven.
He, the Most High, also mentions honey in the Qur’aan :“The description of Paradise which the Muttaqûn (pious) have been promised is that In it are rivers of water the taste and smell of which are not changed; rivers of milk of which the taste never changes; rivers of wine delicious to those who drink; and rivers of clarified honey (clear and pure)…” [47:15]
Honey is a Prophetic Medicine mentioned in the authentic Sunna. It is reported that the Prophet (SAW) said: “Cure is in three (things): a drink of honey, a slash of the knife used in Hijaamah and branding (cauterizing) by fire. And I prohibit my nation from cauterizing.” [Bukhaaree (5356)]
Abu Sa’eed al-Khudree narrated, “A man came to the Messenger of Allah (SAW) and said, ‘My brother has pain in his stomach’, so the Messenger (SAW) said, ‘give him honey to drink.’ The man came back and said, ‘O Messenger of Allah! It only increased his illness!’ So the Messenger (SAW) said, ‘Give him honey to drink.’ The man came back and said, ‘O Messenger of Allah! It only increased his illness!’ The Messenger of Allaah (SAW) said ‘Allah spoke the truth and your brother’s belly has lied. Go and give him honey to drink.’ He went and gave him honey and was cured.” [Bukhaaree (5684), Muslim (2217)].
Ibnul Qayyim commented that the prescribed medicine should be in sufficient doses otherwise the ailment will not be fully cured and dosage larger than the required amount will weaken the body and cause side effects. Hence the reason why the man wasn’t cured straight after taking the honey was due to excessive amounts of harmful properties in his stomach, the Messenger of Allah knew that the dose was not enough and that the man needed more honey to be cured. [Zaad al-Ma’aad -4/35].
There are at least 40 types of honey, each one has distinctive taste and unique properties. Here are some of the most popular types of honey:

Uses of Honey:
For general health – Take one teaspoons 2-3 times a day.
To heal burns, cuts, wounds, bruises and lacerations – apply topically and directly on the place effect
For beauty and clear face – mix equal parts of olive oil, honey and almond oil, apply the mixture to the face and leave for 15 to 20 minutes before washing off.
For healthy scalp and hair conditioning – mix ½ cup of honey and ¼ of a cup of olive oil, massage into the scalp, this will get nutrients into the roots of the hair. Leave for 30 minutes to an hour and then wash off.
To prevent Bed Wetting – with an empty bladder take one teaspoon of honey before going to sleep.
