Mohamed Farah completed a two-mile run with fans as part of a launch of the Diamond League at Birmingham.

The UK’s most successful long distance runner was at the Alexander Stadium with 25 fans.
Farah, 32, will compete in the Diamond League on 5 June, exactly two months before defending his Olympic 5,000m and 10,000m titles in Rio de Janeiro.
“It was nice to get a chance to jog with them and talk to them,” he said of those who joined him.

Rob Duncan, a paramedic from Pershore in Worcestershire, was one of the 25 people who successfully entered the competition for tickets.

He said it was “a fantastic experience” to run alongside one of the country’s greatest Olympians.
“I’m going to have a grin on my face for a long time to come,” he said.
