The Somaliland Professionals of America (SLPA) is an organization made up of professionals from Somaliland living in the United States, which aims to provide a space for Somaliland professionals to collaborate and exchange ideas. The organization networks with different groups to address important issues facing the community, connects Somaliland-American professionals with those based in Somaliland and utilizes technology to bring forward-thinking individuals together.
The goals and vision of SLPA include working with the Somaliland Mission in DC, hosting events to stimulate innovative ideas, supporting projects in Somaliland, promoting Somaliland’s history and right to self-determination, and showcasing its cultural heritage.
