قال سفير أرض الصومال في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة حسن هيراد ياسين إن دولتي الإمارات وأرض الصومال تجمعهما علاقات وثيقة وبعيدة المدى.
وأشار هيراد ياسين، في حوار خاص مع “العين الإخبارية” وهو أول ظهور إعلامي له، إلى أن دولة الإمارات كانت في السنوات الثلاثين الأخيرة المنفذ التجاري الوحيد لأرض الصومال في المجالات كافة، مؤكداً أن العلاقات ليست حديثة العهد إنما هي علاقات تاريخية راسخة.
وأوضح أن حجم الاستثمارات المتوقعة بين البلدين كبير جداً، كما أن المشاريع التي نفذتها وستنفذها دولة الإمارات في أرض الصومال تتنوع بين المجالات التنموية، إضافة إلى الاتفاقيات التجارية والمشاريع ذات البعد الإنساني.
وأضاف السفير: “لقد ساعدت دولة الإمارات شعبنا أيام أزمة الفيضانات والجفاف، فنشكرهم ونقول لهم لم تقصروا أبداً وجزاكم الله كل خير”.
وأشاد هيراد حسين بدور الإمارات المتميز في أرض الصومال، متوجهاً بالشكر إلى رئيس دولة الإمارات الشيخ خليفة بن زايد آل نهيان، وإلى نائب رئيس الدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، والشيخ محمد بن زايد آل نهيان ولي عهد أبوظبي نائب القائد الأعلى للقوات المسلحة الإماراتية.
وتابع “نشكر القيادة الرشيدة التي سهّلت افتتاح المكتب التجاري التابع لأرض الصومال في دبي، حيث تتمثل أعمال المكتب الأساسية في تطوير العلاقات الاستراتيجية بين البلدين وتنسيقها وتسهيل العلاقات التجارية والاستثمارية”.
وحول دور السعودية والإمارات في تحقيق المصالحة في القرن الأفريقي قال هيراد ياسين: “إن دولتي المملكة العربية السعودية والإمارات العربية المتحدة فاعلتان على المستوى الإقليمي، ولهما دور بارز في تسوية الخلافات وإحقاق المصالحات بين الأطراف المتنازعة كافة، كما أن لهما مصالح مشتركة مع دول الإقليم تجارية وسياسية وأمنية، وكل هذه من العوامل الأساسية تسهم في تقوية العلاقات الاستراتيجية مع الإمارات والسعودية في القرن الأفريقي”.
وعن أهمية استثمار موانئ دبي العالمية في تطوير ميناء بربرا، قال سفير أرض الصومال لـ”العين الإخبارية” إن ميناء بربرا يتمتع بموقع استراتيجي مهم على المحيط الهندي، إضافة إلى وقوعه جغرافيا بين قارتين.
