Over the weekend, the Somaliland diaspora communities in the UK showed their unwavering support for the recent agreement between Somaliland and Ethiopia by organizing a picketing demo in London.
Thousands of people, including young people, women, children, intellectuals, and scholars from all over the UK, participated in the picketing, which was organized by the Somaliland embassy in the UK and diverse British communities.
The picketing aimed to underline to the British government, and by extension, the rest of the world that the existence and independence of Somaliland are not up for negotiation and that the international community must recognize this fact.
